Job Description

• Capacity Administrator: Responsible for all administrative activities within BHCO, including installation, upgrades, user management, and customization.
• Capacity Planner: Focuses on capacity planning activities, including what-if analysis and resource forecasting.
• Capacity Operator: Handles day-to-day operations, including monitoring and reporting, without administrative responsibilities
• Connect BHCO to the existing infrastructure, including virtualization platforms and cloud providers to Integrate Data Sources.
• Configure ETL Modules, Set up ETL modules to collect data from sources like VMware vCenter, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop Capacity Models to analyze and forecast capacity data, aiding in resource optimization and planning.
• Develop custom dashboards to visualize capacity metrics and trends.
• Utilize Forecasting Tools to predict future resource needs and identify potential capacity issues.
• Conduct “what-if” analyses to simulate different scenarios and their impact on resource utilization.

Primary Skill (Must Have)

• End to End BHCO implementation & configuration
• Understanding of ETLs
• Capacity planning & forecasting using “what-if” analysis
• Integrations with BMC Helix Solutions & REST APIs for custom integrations
• Reports & Dashboards
• Good to have knowledge of BHOM & BMC Discovery

Key Responsibilities

• Capacity Management & Optimization: Monitor and analyze system capacity and performance metrics, providing recommendations on capacity planning and resource allocation to prevent over-provisioning and under-utilization.
• System Administration & Support: Administer and maintain BMC Helix Continuous Optimization (BHCO) to provide L2/L3 operational support.
• Integration & Customization: Integration with other systems and third-party applications for optimizing capacity management and performance monitoring.
• Forecasting & Planning: Utilize predictive analytics to forecast infrastructure needs
• Reporting & Dashboards: Create and manage dashboards and reports to keep stakeholders informed about capacity
